
The Community Table’s main goal is promoting health in Abbotsford. We believe that being healthy includes more than just eating right and exercising regularly, although both are major parts of being healthy. Stress and unhealthy relationships are also very damaging to our health. Experiencing isolation or loneliness carry comparable risks to cigarette smoking, high blood pressure, and obesity.
At the Community Table, we aim to address the whole person. Physical, mental, social and spiritual. We will provide a variety of monthly events addressing each of these areas. We offer plant-based cooking classes, Dinner with the Doctor events, and bring in a variety of health care professionals to give health presentations that address various health issues such as digestive health, mental health, and immune health to name a few. We hope you will come out to our monthly events which will re-start Sept 12, 2022.
